FLOATER
The wine floater allows a fast and continuous separation of the lees from the must (flotation) in order to ensure a fermentation of absolute purity and a consequent reduction of polyphenols and substances which may cause instability in the wine. Our FLOTTATORE FLOTTA for wine is compact and easy to transport near the tanks for the clarification of wine; they are ideal for small and medium cellars. The flotation device optimizes the must clarification process, establishing both economic and qualitative advantages in the must. It is a much faster process than the classic clarification systems (time-saving frigorie coadjuvants). Flotation is a process by which solid particles, with the aid of technical gases such as nitrogen, are pulled upwards by different specific gravity forming a layered thickening. This preserves the quality of the clarified must, reducing contact with lees (the separation of fast sediments in the must is an advantage for the aromas of the wine). The yields obtained are always very high (95% on average). Made entirely of stainless steel and with high quality components, it is built in compliance with the current regulations. Easy to use, it does not require any special maintenance.
